in the end, they refunded my money and gave me a $32.50 credit to use on amazon. Yeah, i got a free $32.50 out of the deal, but what i really wanted was to pay $12.50 for the combo pack of origins, awakenings, all the DLC and DA2....instead i got nothing but aggravation because Amazon chose to allow a broken download to remain.

When starting up the game, you see a catchy opening video of Zumba celebrities Beto Perez (the inventor of Zumba), Tanya Beardsley, and Gina Grant dancing. It's their animated figures who will be your Zumba instructors throughout the game. It definitely puts you in the mood.

Its motion detection was revolutionary in terms of how well it detected how well you were performing exercises, and the mini-games it included were both tons of fun and moderately good exercise.
I'm happy to say that Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012 does push the platform forward, in an evolutionary if not a revolutionary way. Still, it is by far the best "pure workout" game that you can get on the Kinect.
When you start out the game, you see a blue screen which adjusts the sensor and detects who you are. You're then brought to a home screen, where you see a stylized cartoon image of yourself. That's right, there's no need to create an avatar, because you ARE the avatar. This little change was a huge improvement over the first version, where you played as a brightly colored silhouette. It makes a world of difference, because now you can see your limbs and your body position much clearer than before and match them against the on-screen trainer. More on that below.

When I restarted the next day, the chopper was GONE! HuH?? Only thing is I destroyed the enemy chopper at the base during the initial fight, and it reappears every time, and I'm thinking, why do I need to buy one? Also, if you beach a boat, it won't be there when you go back for it??? Other than that, it's a fun game that let's you complete the quests in your own way other than a few quirks which all games have. I'd recommend it for an action/strategy shooter enthusiasts.
